Our Grand Community Projects
We love to get everybody involved in learning and so every term ends in a Grand Project that
- Celebrates our great work
- Welcomes in our local Community
- Makes a change for the better in the local area
- Welcomes in inspirational people from our community
Here are a few of our Grand Projects
Every child had a piece of Art Work displayed. Many children worked with Artist Dom Heffer. Year 6 children worked at Oasis Academy Wintringham. We had over 500 visitors.
I was so proud to see my child's work displayed. He has learnt so much. Y4Parent
Computing Awards Ceremony
We hired out a local theatre to present our pupil's technology projects. A local tech leader joined us to present awards. We worked with BT and hosted training for local teachers.
We have so many schools that need to engage with computing and they really need to see and hear case studies like yours. Yvonne Walker CAS
We hosted a community event showing off learning in PE, Music and science. We worked with Nunny's Farm, held sports coaching for parents and performed taiko.
I've never been musical or sporty but I might take it up now. I loved it. Y5 parent.
We are book crazy and decided to write our own history book for future generations of the school. We researched, planned, published and presented our book which is available to buy from the school. We combined our art and history skills and knowledge and held a parent's art competition.
We write our own future but a book about the past is a good place to start. We are human so let's find the human story. Miss Witts
