Oasis responds to the local needs of 51 communities across the globe, whic
h requires an enormous amount of support and resource.
Global partnering is one of the ways our academies can support the varying needs of country specific programmes. From providing funds and gifts in kind, to arranging visits during the holidays to offer more hands-on help.
Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe is partnered with Oasis South Africa.
Cosmo City, built as a new and diverse community on the outskirts of Johannesburg, was a natural first home for Oasis, as work began addressing the challenges the community faced: setting up youth development and home based care projects. Over the years, more projects started and like everything worth working for roadblocks got in our way. However with a continuous process of doing, reflecting, learning and adapting, Oasis South Africa is still going and transforming lives every day.
